Rebel Lynn: Strong Woman Ready & To Show It
Rebel Lynn, the adult industry veteran is embarking on a new phase of her career. In a recent interview with AVN.com she said she is launching three new projects that give her greater control over her online presence. This after five successful years of steady studio work. “I am currently launching my OnlyFans, my AVN Stars page, and my Pornhub page. When I first got into the industry, I stayed away from content trade and all that. I just wanted to do production work. Now I’m focusing more on clips, and content.”
Independence!
Lynn is not alone on this journey. Since the beginning of the COVID-19, many performers have moved into producing independent content. But for Lynn the road has been a bit more complicated as she is under a non-exclusive contract with Porn Pros and also is a spokesmodel for CAM4. But the industry’s production slowdown allowed her to step back and reconsider the direction of her future in the business. “The pandemic allowed me to breathe, to do that,” she said. “In my day-to-day life before COVID, I just didn’t have the time. It didn’t make sense for me to just put up my iPhone and film a scene. I like the cameras, and the glitz, and the lights, and the makeup artists and everything. I like the full set. Now, I’m only doing exclusive content. I’m not trading content. I’ll be paying people to do content with me.”
Her Anticipated Triple Launch
Excited and prepared for her upcoming triple-launch, Lynn had five employees working to process her content and get it online, she said, “creating my pages, loading my content, editing. They’ve been working really, really hard, and now all the work is paying off. It’s a long time coming and it’s going to be really good to have all that out there.” This effort will be well worth it for Lynn’s fans who can expect “years worth” of behind-the-scenes videos, still pictures, “solos, and just stuff I have in my phone that’s never been seen before. All of that will be uploaded onto my OnlyFans, my AVN Stars, and my Pornhub.” The launch was scheduled for Valentine's Day and Lynn promises it was only the beginning. While the pandemic made her put many of prior 2020 resolutions on hold, 2021 comes with many “firsts”. “Some of the goals came into this year. But this year, most important for me, is I want to work on my first gang-bang, my first double vag, and my first DP. All my big firsts. Five years in the industry and I have been able to pace myself, and have some longevity with my career. It’s something I’m very happy about, to be able to do these firsts five years in. It’s pretty great.” One of her hopes for 2021 is to work with director Jules Jordan on her series of “firsts.” In fact, “if he wants all of them, he can have them.”
A Strong Woman
Lynn is no stranger to hard work or hardship. Lynn’s childhood was spent growing up in foster homes and group homes, “not the best environment. I had to raise my younger sisters. I was raised by my older sister. We had a lot of struggles growing up. We’ve been through a lot of abuse, and a lot of different types of situations.” But as she puts it, those experiences “made me who I am. I am a very strong woman, and I got into this industry to be able to show that. To show that power I’ve been able to have. And part of that is because of the adult industry.” After her rough upbringing, she says, “you have questions about who you are, and what you’re meant to do. For me, I’ve always been very sexual. And part of that is the abuse that I went through, and not knowing who I am. And not understanding my own sexuality.” Finding her place in the adult industry enabled her to “realize my own sexuality, take control of my own sexuality, and love it. That’s something I wouldn’t change for the world.”
120 and Counting
She began her career in the porn industry in 2015 and since then Lynn has appeared in more than 120 video and online productions for companies including Hustler, Girlsway, Kink, Cherry Pimps, Team Skeet, Jules Jordan, Girlfriends Films, Evil Angel, Swallowed, Nubile Films, Vixen and Tushy in solo, g/g and b/g scenes. Represented by Ideal Image Models, Lynn says that her goals for 2021 are enough to keep her busy for a while. She plans to “take it one year at a time. Take it slowly. Not touch anything.” Though she is not shy about thinking about her aspiration to transition to directing adult videos, “after of course, I do all my firsts.” But she still has more big goals in mind: “You can put this in there all you want. I want to win awards. That’s why I am in the industry. I’m not in the industry just to fuck — because, come on. Please. Of course, I’m not in the industry just for the money. I am in the industry to become famous. I want the name. I want the awards. I want every award possible. And I am going to work as hard as I possibly can to achieve those goals.
